1. LSP, provides a common interface between languages and text editors. Much more useful than anticipated for millions of programmers.

2. NewPipe, a YouTube app for Android. No more ads for YouTube means I watch a lot more videos. Really highlights how the official app caters more for advertiser's rather than users

3. ChatGPT, an obvious answer, but it's the first instance of something which will radically change everyone's interaction with a computer.
