For right now, he's Prime Minister elect.

He'll take Justin Trudeau's place until the next federal election. We're not quite sure when that will be, but then Carney and the Liberal Party will need to win the majority of seats in Parliament. If they do, he'll be officially the Prime Minister.

Thank you, I saw that they were on campaign, there was a dispute, they said his was the richest campaign, and that he was favorite. I saw when that Delta plane landed upside down in Toronto... 🙃
