Yes, I do that also, sometimes then add some fried garlic and onions( picked up at the asian market) and a small dab of sambal... look, it's 7am, and im ready for lunch, lol

My favorite kale dish is a chiffonade cut sautéed with garlic and butter and the stem bits provide awesome perfect crunchiness.

I'm also a huge fan of broccoli stems, I like them better than the florets 😆
