My sundew is growing a flower. Carnivorous plants grow their flowers high above them so pollinators don’t accidentally get stuck in their traps.

That is so awesome!! I need one of these. Do you have a grow light on it or just a sunny window?

I had it in a sunny window until the winter when I moved it to a grow light. Most carnivorous plants you need to winter, but Cape Sundews are from South Africa and don’t need a dormancy period.

We get a lot of fruit flies here because of the gardens and the veg we bring inside to process during harvest season. They may be a beneficial house plant for me. Thanks for the tips!
