Just realized that I lost $1000 to another DeFi hack.
BASED-WETH on Aloe was wrecked last month or so and my WETH I provided for lending is forever gone.

You can be as great as it gets with the wallet hygiene, but this stuff... it just happens.

Why did you put your ether against a memecoin in a questionable protocol with no rep, you'd ask?
No idea. Just a momentary mind fog while going through Superform vaults and choosing a vault to farm their airdrop.

I guess you can't afford that state of mind for crypto. I'm tired of myself, of being wrecked, and to my feelings towards being wrecked.

Some mistakes can't be avoided, this is part of being in this space.
We just need, like Raoul Pal says, to not fuck this up.
This means 90% safe and known, 10% crazy high risk shenanigans

The budget can swallow that loss, I just wonder how many times the budget can afford while I'm slowly getting more and more hopeless and what'd transpire if I avoided every mistake I made.
