Just realized that I lost $1000 to another DeFi hack. BASED-WETH on Aloe was wrecked last month or so and my WETH I provided for lending is forever gone. You can be as great as it gets with the wallet hygiene, but this stuff... it just happens. Why did you put your ether against a memecoin in a questionable protocol with no rep, you'd ask? No idea. Just a momentary mind fog while going through Superform vaults and choosing a vault to farm their airdrop. I guess you can't afford that state of mind for crypto. I'm tired of myself, of being wrecked, and to my feelings towards being wrecked. A perfect post for /success

Good afternoon from the office, folks. I've found mental peace in not spending all my free time on Farcaster. This is kind of a weird thing to admit when the most folks I know are tirelessly engaging daily, casting, replying and exploring the ecosystem. Please continue doing so if you like it! For me mental peace equals success. Once I find out how to / if I can organically include time spent here into my routine, I'll be more active. (For comparison, my Twitter has been completely abandoned from the start, so Farcaster already has become more attractive for me 🙂)

I will not be locking any $degen this season. The reason behind this decision is purely psychological. Previous seasons the allowance depended on me and my efforts - and it was in my power to make it go up. This season my allowance depends on so many factors I don't control - and it will gradually go down as more people lock their tokens. There's nothing I'll be able to do aside from buying and locking more. I love "numba go up" just as much as the next person in crypto. It's very dissatisfying - and borderline depressing - to see the opposite. If locking a sum provided stable allowance I would go for it. It doesn't. So please enjoy the ride without me.

Haven't been posting lately here because of the break. After the last dip that kept dipping I realized that even after a couple years I am not well suited to mentally be present at this casino 24/7. As a response to that I started trying to reduce my mental exposure. The key point is to be happy regardless of the market movements (and most of the time the crypto market is in correction). Otherwise I'm just wasting my (possibly) best years on worrying. This is not a simple "okay it's done" thing. It's a huge and continuous effort paired with a lot of techniques that I need to learn to apply. Wish me lucky-luck.
