might sound stupid, but pick one event in your product you care about and set up notifications for it right now. gives you energy. gives you clarity. gives you an automated stream of good news. could be a purchase, a sign-up, a waitlist join, a transaction, a new follower — whatever makes you feel like it’s moving. we did this for purchases on LISA and waitlist joins for Intern. remember reading that early amazon had a bell that rang every time someone bought a book. they had to turn it off eventually — it was going off every second and no one could get any work done. do the same. turn it off when it becomes unbearable. until then, let it ring.
