The solution to bridging is paying the 30% Apple tax and paymasters.

I want to do this thing on <insert L2 here>. Great — just tap the button and confirm an in-app purchase. Done!

So you think everyone should pay a min 30% fee when trying a new L2? I don't follow

I guess. I might be biased, but I think we shouldn't cave in to the Apple tax.

That's a fine position to have. Just don't expect users in the US.

Well, I'm not saying that we should all migrate off of Apple stuff. I believe we should challenge their monopoly, and get them to change.

What do you think will make them change? cf. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epic_Games_v._Apple

This kind of clashing is what we need. But also, I have a lot to say on this matter ans too little text to say it in lol. What I will say is everyone could benefit from the zeitgeist changing towards their phones, thinking of them less as centralized devices as more as literal personal computers.

Reason being, if giant movements did that, people would see apps more as conventional computer programs, and thus, anyone can actually put anything they want on their phones and thus app stores are not the only way to use the phone - fast forward to tons of app stores.
