Increased conviction that web3 social wont win because of being decentralized

but it can win by being composable!

❌ the goal for Farcaster rn should not be 1B users
✅ it should be to get to 25,000 devs at all levels of stack

What is "win"? Genuine question. Everyone knows the internet peaked before mass adoption. Web3 doesn't need the masses, it just needs ENOUGH people.

Mass adoption will literally just make it web 2 because the exact same dance will play out. Unpopular opinion but web3 socials having numbers like Threads is NOT a win.
