OK does anyone have any idea why conventional "breakfast" food seems to so often come with absolutely no vegetables?

I believe it's mainly because of the "West" established as a breakfast in a public campaign like a hundred years ago. We're talking as stupid as, and from the same era of the "food pyramid". *shudders*
