Self-Taught Photographer chasing beauty surrounding me… 🇨🇦

I went and spent the night in Monument Valley, with the plan to get a star shot (my Monumental Stars image that was recently a finalist for Digital Photo’s Your Best Shot contest), and then a sunstar in the Mittens at sunrise. So these two were taken within about 12 hours of each other.

It was a good trip!

So, @ildiko… this is probably my favorite B&W. So much color in Hawaii, it is tough not to use it, but under the stars in the desert was a great opportunity.
