Should help people who are good faith trying to engage and adjust how they cast.

Reminder, if you're casting in your own home feed, channel or replying to people you who follow you, the spam model doesn't focus on that. 

It's only if you're excessively replying  to people who don't follow you (with no engagement).

I genuinely appreciate any form of engagement, even if it’s just a few spam comments from people I don’t know. In a way, it’s reassuring to see that even spammers took notice.

It certainly feels better than no interaction at all.

If I posted and got absolutely no engagement, I’d feel discouraged, but as long as there’s attention—even spam—I’m motivated to stay engaged.
