Societally at a level for sure - and potentially that scarcity can also be of: love, money, safety, trust etc

when you write 'scarcity' in this context do you mean 'lack thereof'? or as in these things become more precious in that they are scarce?

Oh, I mean the perception that they are scarce. The underlying scarcity we all feel about one or all of the things I mention. The problem is we measure everything yet the main thing we cannot grasp with a measuring stick is our own death. So we take the fear of the end and apply it to everything else. And ofc on top is the scarcity mindset that can actually come from scarcity bound pasts/even presents where there actually was/is lack love, money, safety etc.
