Ok you're an engineer so maybe think about it from a process flow perspective. There is a dependency chain like this:

(1) Creator -> (2) Channel -> (3) Subscriber 

Additionally there's 2 roles for subscribers: (3a) interested in content and (3b) interested in investment.

You're saying the interests of (3b) should drive cashback parameters. I'm saying that the interests of (1) supercede (3b), because (3b) doesn't exist without (1). That's why I'm saying  while your points are valid, you can't put your arguments on an equal footing to mine. And I'm saying I care more about (3a) than (3b).

The initial default values set up on @alfafrens make clear their main audience is people interested in investment & DeFi and NOT content & creators. 

70% is reserved for cashback and only 25% for creators. I hope people will be able to change these defaults soon.

that's cool . i am using to share the dailydrawings as i don't like to cast them constantly here . feels spammy sammy to me to do so . on the alfafrens i get the sense that whomever bothered to subscribe is really into it and doesn't mind the constant stream . nice to have found a use for it .

Keep your channel & keep asking @alfafrens to make the percentages editable by channel owners. I like their model of pay-by-the-second, it can be really powerful when the cashback defaults can be changed.
