Great show, but I really never found the storyline about Bill Tench's son interesting or compelling. Just always seemed like a forced afterthought to me

But to answer your question, the first show that comes to mind is this goofy show called "The Brink" that was on HBO for one season. Kinda had like a Veep/Silicon Valley feel and had an awesome cast

I hear ya, the Bill Tench kid never really clicked for me either, kinda felt like they threw it in last minute.
