Since Spam labels are now public, I’ve spent some time looking at things these accounts have in common vs accounts that don’t get labeled and this is my initial advice for people who’ve been labeled. 1. STOP sharing frames. If you didn’t build it, don’t share it. 2. Stop recasting. Instead, quote cast and spell out why you are sharing it. What makes this worthy of being shared? 3. Ensure 80% of your timeline is original content. Don’t steal it from the web, make something unique and genuine. It better to not cast at all than to cast slop. 4. Only reply to people in channels. If someone casts to their home feed and doesn’t follow you, don’t comment. 5. Stop tagging people. They don’t get notified of the tags anyway. It’s pointless to tag them.

but sharing frames is good for devs to gain more exposure, right?! of course, not casting frame after frame nonstop... i'm sure devs get some compensation i.e. $moxie by being used from users...

Yes. But here’s where incentives don’t align and someone loses out greatly. Top users don’t cast frames constantly. They do it very rarely and usually comment about why they are casting it. Frames that auto tag tons of users are one of the main culprits of spam labels IMHO. I can’t prove this. The algo is secret. But 90% of people here are labeled as spam and most of them cast too many frames.

I wrote an article based on this cast. Would love any feedback or if I missed anything. https://warpcast.com/pichi/0x26689924
