Why is Vitalik Buterin more active on Farcaster than Twitter? And is DeSoc the new meta in crypto? Vitalik hopes it is. Check out my latest blog post where I cover the vision and share my personal experience using Farcaster and Lens https://www.ignasdefi.com/p/decentralized-social-media-vision

It should be noted that Dan insists that the Farcaster protocol itself will not launch a token. Tokens can only be launched by affiliated apps within the Farcaster ecosystem. https://warpcast.com/dwr.eth/0xfe46eda4

Good correction. So even for one Farcaster 'protocol' there could be multiple tokens

Indeed, an open protocol means that anyone can build an app on top of it, and naturally, no one can prevent me from airdropping tokens to my loyal app users. Similarly, those apps within the Lens ecosystem may also develop token economics within their own apps.

I haven't looked in depth but seems that Lens protocol token is more probable than Farcaster. True?

Based on the attention from airdrop farmers, I think so. They expect both the Lens Protocol and the apps within the Lens ecosystem that have completed fundraising to potentially distribute airdrops. However, most Farcaster users may not anticipate any airdrops.
