Historically, financial distress combined with large wealth gaps has been a leading indicator of civil wars. 

Governments struggling financially can't support the system, leading to collapse and conflict over resources.

As we approach the brink of civil war, non-violent forms of conflict like state vs. central government clashes will become more likely.

This could lead to a fractured central government and increased emphasis on state rights.

"If things get bad enough, some Americans will flee to other countries and foreigners will choose not to be here. 

Such disorder would also not be good for rule-of-law and our capital markets."

If Biden wins, it's likely Trump supporters won't accept the result. If Trump wins, the hard left won't accept his leadership. 

The strength of the legal system will be tested, with increasing willingness to fight judgments if outcomes are unfavorable.

imo civil war already started long ago, but ppl have just called "culture war"

tho it looks increasingly likely that this is going towards a physical war sooner everyday
