👋🏽 Would appreciate under-the-radar epic fantasy recommendations. I’ve pretty much read or DNF’d all of the major stuff so I'm looking for underrated works I may have missed.

I'm also big on science fiction similar to Red Rising and The Sun Eater.

Hm I don't think I have any under-the-radar recommendations since I haven't done any serious reading in awhile besides non-fiction audiobooks.

Or for less of a heavy science and more of a space opera theme, James Corey's "Expanse" series is pretty epic.

Yeah, the Mars trilogy seems too dense to retain my interest, but I will definitely check out 2312. Added it to my reading list already. ✨

Hmm. I haven't read those, but they sound cool. Both seem fairly plot and character driven. I really like Kim Stanley Robinson, but his classic "Mar's Trilogy" might be a bit dry for your likes. His follow up to it, "2312", is more up your alley, and you don't need to read any of his other books first.

Big fan of those myself. just finished Sun Eater and looking for my next Epic.
