I am really sorry and I am hopeful they will change their mind. I haven’t been closely following nor understanding what is going on because I don’t know that many people still around here, but if it is because of criticism, in fact the only way to progress imho is to bullet proof yourself by learning what is and could go wrong and those people who see the integrity breach are the most valuable in fact. 
In art world, it is the criticism that keeps it alive, I think our digital reality is very similar or should be
