Today’s practicing session resulted in this little video, sharing with the world my progress of returning to Prokofiev war sonata no. 7. Streams of consciousness, extreme stress due to raging rhythms that Europe was beating as the war was entangling and disentangling. A fascinating piece that I have been working on for a long time with several long pauses. Now finally I think i understand it. It is one of those pieces that require us to live a life, to get shocked and slightly traumatized in order to process what composer wanted to express
