Good question. I have 3 types of aloe, and they grow and propagate themself by always having a small ones growing next to the big one, then I separate the small ones once they have grown and put in a new place. About water not really in my case, as for shade yes you are right there

Do you have any tips of tricks to get aloe to pup or propagate? I hear they like LOTS of water and partial shade, any recs on soil composition?
