Anyone else starting to get worried about this rise of casual open imperialism? Like, not "peaceful trade at prices social justice activists don't like" imperialism but actual "let's go conquer stuff" imperialism. I know it's "meant to be a joke", but often such jokes are a first step to normalizing something dark...

My only thing with this is people keep saying get out of Ukraine, I guess they are just shifting focus closer to home now...

Well probably not a huge difference between Russia taking Ukraine and the USA taking Canada or Greenland etc

ha yea, well Greenland is over 3x as big as Ukraine and Canada is about 17x as big as Ukraine.

If the comparison is the USA then Canada is only a little bit bigger and Greenland is about 1/4th the size of the USA.

I'm not sure land mass is that important when it comes to imperialism though, is it?
