Lets hypothetically say your time is worth $100/hr You fold your laundry ~1 hour a week There are ~50 weeks in a year ~6 years That’s $30k

A bit surprised, how do they justify the cost? Their Locobot was $5K, with one Roomba-like base, one arm, LiDAR and RealSense, NCU, and even goodies like a PlayStation 4 controller. Steep difference. Perhaps the bulk of the cost is some nifty compute.

They include in those solutions a “high performance laptop” (no spec), probably meaning with a recent Nvidia board. That would add like 2-3K to something like Locobot. Still far from $30K. Noticing any expensive sensor? Or perhaps the gravity compensator (no idea of price range) ?
