Is Schmidhuber correct (dunno will not check) ? A brilliant person, but also appearing more and more as the Chuck Norris of AI.

don’t know the exact sequence of publications but it does seem that schmidhuber does not get enough credit for the work he has done here is his critique when the turing prize was given https://people.idsia.ch/~juergen/ai-priority-disputes.html

Thank you. Interesting reading and probe in a past I only partially remember! I for one believe Schmidhuber here (read 1/3 for now), but unlikely to get really recognised/vindicated anymore, sadly. That reminds disputes like who discovered DNA.
