The Apollo Guidance Computer (AGC) was such a marvel of software & computer engineering on top of all mech & EE + interdisciplinary engineering it took to make the Lunar Module reach / be able to land on the surface of the moon. 

Able to handle radar, IMU, display, input, & engine commands - all done in the 1960s

Such diagram is for high level presentations?

Surprising that the computer looks so much at the centre of everything, which in system design means fatal criticality. Vague memory there where two computers, just in case.

By today’s standards, it looks so hazardous a system architecture! If not mistaken many space crafts and robots have redundant compute now. But usually relatively light rad-hardened components.

Lunar Module and command Module each had a AGC. LM AGC had different job than CM AGC, the former focused on landing, the latter focused on GNC

Also A triple redundant system was proposed but difficult because each AGC weighed 32 kg. In the end I think they went with just a large protective casing against cosmic rays
