Am I missing something because I had to stake 55k degen worth to only win 3k degen despite your frame saying the max return was 1200%? I didn’t expect 1200% but I also didn’t expect a 5% return. Won’t be doing this again

good point 🙏 will try to update the content of the frame the _max_ return is calculated based on the balance between the up and down sides. you came in with one of the last bets and chose the right side. most of the value was steaked in the same direction, so there is no unique upside to follow the herd

I actually staked earlier in the week too and that would have had no return apparently. Also no unique upside? You’re the one advertising the upside. You have a ton of work to do with your product and I’d argue it’s not even ready. Won’t be using it again for sure after this.

unique upside → if you run with the crowd, there is less risk, so less reward

we're launching early and iterating, which I think is good. you might have a different opinion to this approach 🫡

- you get 0.69% of every bet that is placed after yours. so it pays to be early and right - it's a prediction market, so the funds to be distributed come from the losing side. if the losing side is <20% of the overall market, you get a low % return (5% in your case)
