I don’t think degen being the pulse of farcaster is a good thing. Only people who seem to support this are those with a large position or airdrop farmers. 

If anything degen is the collapse of farcaster as we once knew it. everyone is trying to make a quick buck on here these days.

I view this cautiously. With channels, content can be divided, allowing different interest groups to coexist on FC. While the early culture of FC and degens may not align, as you know, most people in crypto are degens. For FC to be a social platform in crypto, it needs inclusivity.
