Self nominating @baseafrica for the Octant x Purple Retroactive Public Goods Funding

@baseafrica is dedicated to inspiring, onboarding, empowering, sustaining and bringing more users onchain in Africa to @base 

We are only 2 months old and we have been able to onboard 140 users onchain

Getting them  on farcaster, getting them basenames, some of them already where on warpcast

We have been able to create a warm collaborative environment for all our members and, each of them are showing up everyday and contributing to bring the world onchain 


We now have sub communities under @baseafrica:

We have baseunilag
We have baseenugu
We have baseosunstate 

And more to come 

We have very engaging activities every week and from time to time support the sub-communities 

We believe that this grants will absolutely help to allow us onboard more folks onchain and on farcaster, also support our sub communities more

In just two months, @baseafrica has onboarded 140 users on-chain, introduced them to Farcaster, and created a vibrant, collaborative community. With emerging sub-communities like baseunilag, baseenugu, and baseosunstate, we are committed to growing our impact.

This grant would help us onboard more users and support our expanding sub-communities.
