When creating that initial relationship with VCs and angels and introducing them to your idea/startup before raising how do you approach cold outreach if you don’t have a personal intro / recommendation

Outside of break out growth, hard to get mosts VCs to pay attention to you without a warm intro. One the benefits to working at a high-growth startup is the references you get from other people involved in the company. cc @alok @nick who are both pretty good at finding undiscovered founders

To answer more clearly: I'm anomalous in that I have never personally raised from anyone I didn't already have a pre-existing relationship with.

If you have a decent following on Twitter (sorry blasphemy until Warpcast adds this feature), I used to read all of my cold outreach Twitter DMs where it surfaces who follows them among accounts I follow. Met many founders that were fundraising this way
