What does that look like for you?

For me it’s just having enough resource from music to warrant doing that all the time. Nothing too crazy perhaps. That and true connection of the music so it communicates the feelings I had when making it.

in some ways I already have made it:

- I played live on stage with my favorite band from high school in 2007 and 2023 and appeared on their 2011 record

- toured the country three times

- just today, someone opened their DJ mix with one of my songs from 1998

I don’t want Taylor Swift level fame. But I’d love to have more than 80 Spotify listeners.

I feel you bro. Similar story, have had DJ residencies, music out on vinyl, supported big artists overseas and even charted and had sync deals. The thing at the core of it for me though is connection. 

I wonder what part of you would be unlocked if you were to have all your wants. What’s the real ‘why’?
