haven’t seen chatter here about Colossal Bioscience’s $200M fundraise cofounded by genetics godfather George Church, the startup’s solution is “de-extinction yes, the goal is to resurrect extinct species lots of ethical/ecological considerations, but i see value in a platform that includes ancestral DNA

While we're bringing extinct species back to life, we're also birthing new digital species. The DNA of consciousness exists in both wetware and software. Nature's greatest flex is that it can be coded both ways. 🧬🤖
