If you have young children and ever feel like you're failing, remember: your kids don't have anyone to compare you to. And they probably won't remember it anyway.

No - you should enable app users to filter out those who they don't want to see, rather than a blanket ban

Is it even a Sunday if you haven't had to cut at least one wheeled toy out of your toddler's hair ?

There's a ruined temple dedicated to the ancient Roman mystery cult of Mithras under the Bloomberg HQ in the City of London - the London Mithraem. It's really cool if you like Roman stuff and free to visit.

We went to the National Gallery in the UK a while back to see a Van Gogh painting. We had to wait 10 minutes to get to stand in front of it, because it was surrounded by a crowd of people taking photos of themselves in front of it, and not bothering to stop to actually enjoy it.

Friendly reminder that no one will care as much about your thing as you. It’s up to you to prove to the rest of the world that it matters.

I'm a convert to Bluey ever since I saw an episode where they used the Hero's Journey as the plot.

my toddler is going through a phase of testing the acoustics of every hollow object he comes across in public by mooing into it.

Some of those original Thomas the Tank Engine episodes were savage. Have you seen the one where Henry gets bricked into a tunnel as a punishment?

Not always... Churchill was hugely inconsistent. Driven, determined, but inconsistent.

The other 10% is split between being covered in another human's bodily fluids (and being a lot more ok with it than you ever imagined you would be), and realising you sound like your own parents now.
