The first Rolls-Royce car in the world was released on April 1, 1904. It was a prototype Royce 10hp driven by Henry Royce. By December 25, 1904, when the Paris Motor Show closed, where the debut of the new product took place, four Rolls-Royce 10 hp Type A models had already been released at a price of 395 pounds for each. The first Rolls-Royce received a 2-cylinder engine with a volume of 1809 cm3 with two valves per cylinder. Its power was 12 hp (9 kW)/1000 rpm. The body was attached to a steel ladder-type frame.
