The normalization of sex work among gen z is something I’ve never seen before. I recall a hooker saying once the biggest problem for them is they used to rely on their clothes (or lack thereof) to signal their work but it’s now hard to tell them apart from any other girl at night going to a party. I think about that on occasion

I’ve been thinking about this recently after watching the documentary The Century of the Self. In it, they talk about how a guy that convinced women it was cool to smoke. It makes me wonder if there is anything left to be made cool?
