Once your eye is tuned, you can infer quite a bit from observation in the garden or field. Hakurei salad turnips, sweet white Japanese turnips best enjoyed raw, before a cultivation session. Field is a bit inconsistent, par for the course in a cool spring. This guy looks locked in with thick leaves and good veins.
