Could Wikipedia be rebuilt on top of the farcaster protocol? 

How would one incorporate the protocol? I have ideas but interested to hear some takes

How does that work in practice when trying to build a new Wikipedia ?

using fc as the conversation layer makes sense for that project or just about any other. uncertain of the utility of using it for the content

Can casts work as either top-level containers OR inline commits?

Expand on that. What do you think farcaster's primitives, i.e. posts, would bring to wiki style content? Obviously it could work with conversations but it feels to me ill suited because of the short length of casts. Legitimately curious

Rebuilding it at this point would be tough.  Vast amounts of hours have been donated for the content.  A better approach would be getting it to adopt new tech.  Could start with a plugin that makes it easy for a reader to tip the contributors of an article.
