Seeing many Gen Z friends early 20s who had ‘detached irony’ beaten so hard into them as a personality trait, that they lack the confidence and now even the ability to think uniquely about what they enjoy, the person they want to be, and the kind of work they want to do. The courage to commit to a choice.

cynicism is mistaken for cool by every generation, some never grow out of it, but many will, still a battle for me.
