Because of the limits subjectivity, I like to make a point of it not to pass judgement. My ideas get richer, because I always have access to the opposite POV. But what if some other belief stands in the way of effectuating what I stand for? Should I abstain from exerting power - or try to change the world anyway?

Your view is uniquely yours, and nobody can change it. As long as people live and let live, all's good until one person's freedom is another person's loss of freedom. (see gun debate) So conflict is natural, how it is resolved is the key to an evolved society.
