Not necessarily no. Venom is when them biting you kills you, poison is when you biting them kills you. In the case of the slow loris, they have glands in their armpits that excrete a toxic substance, and when threatened they lick their own armpit and store the venom in their mouth, then secrete it by biting into the other animal’s blood. But they will also excrete the toxin on their fur so that eating them is poisonous for the attacker.
