Biden's economic theory was that you can rapidly increase the wages of the poorest workers and the ensuing inflation could be mitigated with a soft landing. This proved correct, and voters hated it so much that no one will ever try it again.

I agree, but they would’ve hated other options more. Trying to make best of bad situation.

all in all it was a soft landing and the vaccines worked, but when you only need to sway 2% of the voters, it becomes an easy target

It seems like inflation was going to come either way, and people would have hated it regardless but perhaps there could have been more protection against the rising costs of essential goods. 

At some point Biden did seem like a genuinely pro-worker president but I guess inertia finally triumphed.
