I respect hockey. It’s fun to play, and fun live, but I don’t think the product on TV does the sport justice

generally that's true, until the playoffs.. playoffs are a different animal entirely. our local coverage here is Colorado of Avalanche is pretty hilarious, fun and great. In other markets and ESPN coverage, it's downright atrocious intermixed with just annoying.

I’ll give it this…it’s definitely more fun to watch than Soccer.

So many rule changes could make soccer infinitely better, like a game clock and more hockey-like rules like a penalty box instead of card system. I do love how I can watch 50 minutes straight with no ads though.

Unpopular opinion: There's not enough space in pro soccer games nowadays, players are just too good. Would be way more exciting with 10 players aside instead of 11.

I’m just not a fan of the lack of scoring. Yes, there’s constant action, but most of that action is pretty boring. The NBA, on the other hand has constant action and tons of scoring. I’ll take basketball over soccer any day if I’m looking for constant action.
