How would you describe your note taking practice? Do you refer back to them often?

I drop bullet lists onto a text file from my phone. I rarely go back to look at them, but if I need to it’s only a quick search away. 

Although, half the time I forgot to take the note in the first place.

Hah, I guess whatever it is wasn’t very notable.

Search is so powerful. Sometimes I’ll have a vague memory of a note I took a few years back, only a word or two. When the search comes back with the exact note, I’m always a bit blown away. 

This has progressed from keeping analog sketchbooks in the past. Flipping many many pages and sometimes never finding the right one.
