One thing I’ve realized while traveling Vietnam, Warpcast isn’t optimized for low quality internet. Many times I open the app and it just hangs, it doesn’t load my feed, profile, or DCs. Meanwhile, Instagram and X still load a lofi version of the app.

I actually use it to test my network connection sometimes for this reason.

Haven’t tried web app on mobile. It’s usually app or bust for me on my phone.

have you tested also the webapp version ? if so what is the result ?

Hmm, I haven’t noticed that being an issue for me back home. In Vietnam I’m wholly dependent on their cell service.

Yeah it also doesn’t like when your network changes (like from WiFi to 5G) and requires a hard reset of the app for me when that happens.

I agree. It’d be nice to open the app and some version of my history is ready to read while the app loads new content in the background.

Offline first is a big feature wc could do with imo. Though I'm not sure how it plays with their existing setup for things like auto update
