If I were to start doing a quarterly special edition of the State of DeFi Yields report, what niche DeFi topics would you be interested in reading about? If you haven't read my weekly report before, you can get a sense of what I cover here: https://mirror.xyz/nexusmutant.eth/VtbiXvlCr2kGlPDOCUcjmwcCFm42r6IPa7E17hz8t18

State of DeFi Yields report is cooking, but will be out later than usual. I'm getting ready for a flight, and I want to make sure all the data I include is up to date. The market drop over the weekend changed most of the stats, I had, so need to revise quite a few sections. Appreciate the patience!

Another solid week of cover sales for Pool 22 The pools vAPY is up to 23.57% With the base 2% APY I get as an NXM holder from the Capital Pool investment holdings, I'm effectively earning 25.57% on ETH since NXM is valued in and backed by ETH πŸ’ͺ

I'm a pool manager for Pool 22 in the Nexus Mutual ecosystem & it's been a remarkable week for cover sales. This week brings a majority uptick in cover buys, as more users are deploying capital + protecting themselves against smart contract risk. Pool 22 https://app.nexusmutual.io/staking/pools/22

Unfortunate to see the Prisma exploit this morning. When the market is hot, people forget or downplay smart contract + economic risks. We need more onchain coverage options so users can protect themselves against hacks/exploits and I believe more protocols should feature cover options directly in their UI.

I’ve really enjoyed writing the State of DeFi Yields report each week. This week, I’m going to change things up. Issue 4 will be published on Monday, so I have a more complete look at the last week in yields. That way, you can start the week knowing which farms to research and explore.

I'm working on the next issue of State of DeFi Yields: is there any particular topics folks would like to see me cover this week? I plan to cover stablecoin and ETH yields, plus updates from some governance forums across DeFi. If there's something else you'd like to see in Issue 3, let me know!

Traditional banks are run by humans. Onchain banks are run by code. FDIC backs the tradfi banks. @NexusMutual backs the onchain banks.

The further you are from reality the bigger the dream can be. Points are further from reality than tokens, as points are far less traded.

I have lots of old mtg cards, primarily for playing with. They are now worth a fair amount but that's not the main driver for me.

Tokenising everything seems great, but a lot of people are turned off by financialising everything. Starting to think the price should be secondary/hidden for a lot of NFT like items.

You're testing my memory! It's more that oracles and other economic assumptions get stressed more on the downside as it tends to be more extreme. A lot of protocols effectively make probabilistic statements on how much buffer is required under certain scenarios, downside tests this more.
