Releasing ESPLR - a local ETH block explorer. Big problem of ecosystem is reliance on 3rd party RPCs (infura, alchemy, quicknode). Also reliance on 3rd party explorers (etherscan). They track users: it makes system one big panopticon. Local nodes can make the situation better! PC with an archive node only costs $40/mo or $500 one-time. Esplr only needs RPC URL of an archive node. It can view transactions, account balances and token transfer history (unique feature). https://github.com/paulmillr/esplr

True for sure. But why would you want 3rd parties to deanonymize their tx? Technically you could allow a third party to reveal the tx with the current setup if you give them the 3rd party access to the note that TC generates.

This validator is responsible for creating a new block and sending it out to other nodes on the network. Also, in every slot a committee of validators is randomly chosen, whose votes are used to determine the validity of the block being proposed. The first member of the committee is the block proposer; the rest are attesters.

The winners and dealer can get an ERC-20 token that is sent to their validator withdrawal address or signal intent to play in the graffiti parameter when they attest (I'm not sure if you can see validator graffiti unless you propose a block 🤔). This is a random idea that popped in my head. If someone wants a neat weekend project feel free to steal this!

For those less familiar with Ethereum's Beacon Chain, here are some explanations and resources: The Beacon Chain handles block logic and consensus logic in Ethereum as part of Ethereum's proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. At the beginning of each epoch on the beacon chain, the entire validator set is shuffled into 32 committees (one for each slot). One validator is randomly selected to be a block proposer in every slot.

Ethereum Beacon Chain Blackjack 🃏 For funsies could someone create a program that reads the Ethereum consensus layer, sees the validators selected from the selected committee, and simulate a blackjack game where the block proposer is the dealer and the attesters are blackjack players?

My thoughts: Vampire attack certain communities with a focus on Frames enabling unique features for each online group. 💥 Details 💥 - Seamless cross-posting between both platforms. - When you cross post, you can't use Farcaster features, but you will see others doing so on Farcaster. - You're giving people a better user experience than Twitter and it looks smoother and you can still view/post to Twitter from Farcaster. 🌐 Groups to Target 🌐 - Anime enthusiasts. They are generally more tech. savvy and are on multiple platforms. - Gamers (they get tired of Reddit and frames could integrate unique ways to show your related scores and stats for games + live stream stuff). - Political enthusiasts. That is an underrated reason why Bluesky is having some traction. I don't mean polarizing lib content, but reporters and known political voices.

After a bit of time, I finally published v0.3.0 of my golang Ethereum ssz library. The highlight of the release is support for monolithic types: struct fields that can be tagged with fork names, which during codec operations will be used/skipped based on which fork you're in.
