One interesting I’m noticing with smart contract development on rollups is heavy usage of strings in function calls. This definitely makes actions easier to understand without having to sniff through event logs to see WTF is going on.

Oh yeah this is highly gas inefficient, which is funny coming from me since it’s one of my major obsessions. But if you operate on a chain with cheap blockspace this essentially lets you outsource system-wide analytical views to the block explorer along with clearer UX around TX confirmations.
