what is the point of posting in a channel if it gets you zero extra distribution outside of your followers? except for on channel pages which no one checks. see thread

wouldn’t it make sense to show people who follow /follow-friday or /ethereum or /social posts in those channels by people they don’t follow? like reddit

i dont expect people to go to a channel feed to see what's in the channel—i certainly don't. Reddit does a good job of creating a home feed that contains content from across the subs you follow. under the new channel membership regime where spam is reduced, i expect warpcast to do the same. if i follow /ethereum, i want to see hot posts about ethereum, even if i don't follow the poster (as on reddit).
