Farcaster Devs

I’ve had two people reach out wanting to build a mini app. Doesn’t seem like it’s the most important thing for us to work re: developer legos.

Devs: if you're interested in mini apps, you need to make a case for them. 

What will you build?
Why is it 10x better than what you can do today?
How does it address our existential challenges: DAU growth and interesting content?

I think these could unlock a lot. But so far the response is underwhelming.

i don’t understand why miniapp is distinct from the legos already being build. to me mini app does not mean sliding tray from the bottom, but instead viable software distribution platform. warpcast already has several relevant affordances. adding notifications will make it truly viable for reengagement. arguably DCs already do this.

I just wonder what the difference is between composer actions and mini apps? like aren't all existing composer actions already mini apps?

Wish someone would hurry up and make doom 3d in a composer action. 😅
