Yo, Farcaster Labels, I'm really happy for you, but BSky/ATProto has one of the best labeling infrastructures of all time.

I dunno, I kinda like "big bucket of JSONL files." What does it do better?

Well it's a first class feature in the UI/AppView, so you can subscribe to labelers and use them to hide content, or show tags next to usernames (someone built an alt-pronoun labeler for ex.). The labeler itself has it's own DID which is how you can subscribe to it, and it's all signed/authenticated data, so you could potentially build trust relationships between label subscribers & labelers, or allow for delegation of labeling responsibilities, or cosign other labels in your own labeling service. JSONL is great, but it's all the additional infra they added alongside it to make labelers a first-class object in the network like users.
